Beringer Vineyards is the oldest continuously run and operating winery in the Napa Valley. Today, more than 130 years since its inception, the winery continues making memorable wines from its great Napa Valley vineyards.
Longtime winemaker, Laurie Hook, will host the first presentation dinner at the 2012 Capital Wine Festival in a series of ten wineries on January 25, 2012, featuring the many varietals they produce including the Private Reserve chardonnay and cabernet. Laurie is a member of the American Society of Viticulture and Enology, the Trellis Alliance, and the Napa Valley Wine Technical Group.
Frog’s Leap Winery – February 1, 2012
Please join us on February 1, 2012, for the second presentation at the 2012 Capital Wine Festival, when Frog’s Leap Winery founder John Williams, a Wine Festival perennial favorite, reaches deep into his cellar — as well as his pasture — to display the full scope of Frog’s Leap’s philosophy and organic approach. The winery’s primary focus is on sustainable farming and in understanding and appreciating the soil, which is apparent in their merlots, sauvignon blancs, cabernet sauvignons and legendary zinfandels.
